Campaign History and Background

During the 21st century, Earth passes the point of climate recovery. Global warming generates bigger and stronger natural disasters that go far beyond people's capacity of mitigating them. In this scenario, major governments unite their resources to create a colonization mission for Enoch, an Earth-like planet far from our birth world. This is how ECA (Enoch Colonization Authority) is created. Through their efforts, one major ship with 500 thousand colonists is sent to the new planet.

After 83 years of space traveling, the first group to go down to Enoch is called the Outriders. They are a team of elite soldiers with the mission to scout the landing zone and pave the way for the colonists. The problem begins when they discover Anomaly, a massive and deadly energy storm to which they have been exposed. They try to contact ECA to abort the mission. However, instead of following their recommendations, ECA sends a new security group to silence the Outriders.

Being one of the Outriders, you got deadly wounded and passed 31 years in Criostasis for recovery. When you wake up, you see humanity confined to only one safe valley and in the middle of a civil war against insurgents that got exposed to Anomaly. All that while surrounded by hostile alien wildlife. 

Your mission, given by the engineers that saved your life 30 years ago, is to fight and defeat the insurgents. You need to pursue a mysterious signal picked up at their first arrival on the planet, which the scientist believes could bring answers about how to survive Anomaly.
