Kenshi is a great game for all of you who want to experience something really freeing, not just in the name. What makes this game quite different is the AI storyteller aspect. Each one presents you with a different approach to what you can expect in the game. You can go for something basic, more advanced, or something completely chaotic, depending on the style of gaming you want to play.

The world is not totally procedurally generated, as some things are similar in all Rimworlds, but every run is different, so you will probably never see two similar games. Additionally, you need to look after a cast of various characters, each one with their very own needs, so you need to make decisions to see what kind of ending you can provide for each one of them.

The game was inspired by the siege of Sarajevo and is one of the most interesting titles when it comes to survival games. It may not have the scope of They Are Billions, but this sadness in the personal story is something that is definitely important to recognize.

Additionally, as it’s a totally different portrayal of war, you will feel with the people involved in the process, see their pain, and understand their struggle. It’s not your every day – hey, we are murdering everyone and everything type of game, but rather a philosophical consideration over what war does to a civilian.
