Activation Guide

  1. Sign in to vCenter Server with an administrator account and open the vSphere Client.
  2. Open “Administration” → “Licensing” → “Licenses”, select “Add New Licenses” and enter the delivered license keys.
  3. Open “Assets”, select the vCenter Server and ESXi hosts, then assign the matching vCenter and vSphere licenses.
  4. For vSAN, select the vSAN cluster, open “Configure” → “Licensing”, choose “Assign License” and assign the vSAN Enterprise Plus license.
  5. Verify that every asset has left evaluation mode and displays the expected licensed capacity.
