You can organize and perpetrate many heists, such as robberies of shops and banks, and even the production of narcotics for their further distribution. Starting with these missions involves accepting contracts.

Despite not being part of the good guys, Payday 2 features strong squad cohesion mechanics, which surprised me pleasantly. Co-op mechanics are so relevant that team members must execute the strategic action plan perfectly, which increases dizziness and realism.

During contracts, you’ll face enemies like SWAT units and private security contractors; thus, you must reach the extraction point before being shot down by police forces. Accomplishing heists will provide a payday, allowing you to customize weapons and get experience or money.

These two first-person shooter games share multiple aspects, like epic gunplay in warlike or city scenarios. Still, the most notable aspect of Payday 2 is the multiplayer experience since teammates did not insult me when I was playing but protected and taught me. I’m not good with shooters, so this was a nice experience with a small learning curve.

It features epic battles, gathering 100 players on the same battlefield, which is a recipe for massacre. The plot and conflict will occur on different fronts of the global offensive, such as the Eastern, Western, and North African fronts.

Hell Let Loose boasts breathtaking realism, immersing players in expansive, real-world battlegrounds that faithfully replicate geographical landscapes and dynamic weather conditions, which brings it closer to Squad. In these scenarios, two teams of 50 members must attack through the dynamically shifting front line using several weapons. Moreover, you can be part of America’s Army, the German forces, or the British advancement and enter the immense battlefields with a group of five comrades. 

Personally, I always lean toward the American soldiers and commands as their uniforms and power attacks fit more with my play style. However, each side of the conflict has its strengths.

Hell Let Loose has two game modes: Warfare and Offensive. In both modes, the two teams try to control sections of the map. In the first, the team that controls most of the battlefield when the timer runs out is the winner. In the latter, a team starts controlling all the territory, and the opposing side tries to capture them all. 

Both modes provide a similar sense of urgency and a well-depicting battlefield of WWII. I found this comfortable and refreshing in a market full of games with inaccurate historical events and lack of details.  

Since its early access, Hell Let Loose has provoked overwhelming interest due to its realism and dynamism. In a nutshell, Hell Let Loose is one of those great games of the genre you should play.

RS2 Vietnam features a 64vs64 gunplay in the middle of Vietnam jungles. Participating in the conflict involves choosing a faction between the National Liberation Front, the North Vietnamese Army, the United States Army, the Army of the Republic of Vietnam, and the United State Marine Corps. Each faction has unique abilities and roles. In my personal opinion, it may lead to disbalances and asymmetries, which is not the best for experience.    

From the beginning, you’ll be prompted to select a class to become part of your faction – for example, the gunner class or the sapper class. As the first, you carry an impressive arsenal to shoot enemies from a distance. The latter uses mines to defend strategic positions or help comrades escape an impossible situation. The diversity of RS2 is something I enjoy the most, since classes are vastly different and contribute to improving gunplay.

Another interesting aspect that surprised me is the possibility of controlling airborne vehicles, such as helicopters, to attack or survey the battlefield, similar to other games like Call of Duty Warzone or Counter-Strike. This made me feel like I was in a movie like Platoon or Apocalypse Now.

Squad and Rising Storm 2 also share a fast-paced, fun first-person experience with a gratifying sense of freedom. Most people will enjoy participating in the battle in the jungle of Vietnam and achieve victory with friends.

Sandstorm is a direct sequel to the 2014 Insurgency, but contrary to the first release, this chapter occurs in a functional Middle Eastern region where two actions conflict. During desertic scenarios, your team must capture objectives, destroy the enemy cache, protect a VIP player, or defend your cache from attacks. 

In my first approach to Insurgency: Sandstorm, I noticed that it focuses strongly on intense close-quarters combat, where a team's survival depends on controlling and securing crucial strongholds and destroying enemy supplies. This focus made me feel I was in the middle of an urban guerrilla, attentive to death from wherever it came.   

Eight classes are available: Breacher, Rifleman, Advisor, Demolitions, Marksman, Gunner, Commander, and Observer. Each class gives a different gameplay approach, increasing options and allowing you to play with several tactics. 

One interesting mechanic is that actions provide weapons, equipment, and resource management supply points. Attachment can also improve your firepower; different body armor affects gameplay differently. Join your team in the streets of a Middle Eastern country and carry out your campaign successfully with friends in Insurgency Sandstorm.

Arma 3 offers a similar experience to Squad thanks to this realistic gameplay, modern-day representation of war, and focus on cooperation. Still, unlike Squad, Arma 3 gunplay takes place in an open world set on the fictional islands of Stratis and Altis. Some further expansions include new territories and maps, which host 60vs60 competitive wars.

The third chapter of the Arma series emphasizes co-op and tactical strategies in vast terrains that include body waters, hills, woods, and other environments. Across these extensive scenarios, the infantry moves forward by applying different approaches, like infiltration or reconnaissance. Vehicles are also available to cover the map quickly or directly attack enemies, such as military helicopters and motorboats.

Arma 3 adds several mechanics to the franchise, such as diving in body waters, and improves NPCs' behaviors. It also introduces fifty different weapons and attachments for most firearms, providing improvements and unique skills. You can also customize your character to engage even more with your role in the battle.

Arma 3 left a good taste in my mouth,  clarifying that it’s more than a co-op game or a shooter. It’s a military simulator with solid mechanics and highly replayable. You’ll undoubtedly enjoy shooting in Arma 3 since every mission is unique, and defeating enemy soldiers like a hero is the quintessence of gunplay.

Like similar games from the beginning of the century, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six 3 lacks good graphics and visuals, which can disturb you if you’re not used to playing games of that time. As for me, gameplay can be awesome in both games from twenty years ago and recently released.  Raven Shield is the living proof of this!

Raven Shield is a Tom Clancy series game popular among gamers due to its easy-to-understand gameplay and realistic elements. It has fast-paced gameplay and an interesting plot that is worth it.
