Green Hell is a first-person survival game with an anthropologist Jake Higgins as a main character. You are exploring deep parts of the Amazon Rainforest with your Wife, Mia. Your life couldn’t hope for more.

One day, she decides to look for a tribe, hoping to communicate with them. The days pass, but one night, you finally hear her! Your wife is asking for help through walkie-talkie radio. As a man would do, you don’t hesitate and jump to action to defend her. 

But everything falls apart when you have accidentally fallen to certain death. You survive, but the memories of how you got lost in the middle of the jungle faded away. However, you still remember that you need to find Mia!

You soon encounter an abandoned village. Here you must use your map and find objects to monitor your health, hunger, and thirst. Anyway, they are not your main concern, as you still need to be careful of both wild animals and the environmental conditions. This includes poisonous plants that could cause serious trouble to your mind.

Gaming Experience

Green Hell has an uncharted unique setting that can only be applied in the jungle. You are left alone to escape this terrible place without food or equipment, and the only thing you can do is try to survive. 

The realistic challenges you have to deal with aren’t for everybody. The player is put under physical effort while building a shelter from scratch without falling to the effects of solitude.

You won’t get help from the outside world, and your only tool is your hands. Prepare to craft weapons, tools and set traps to hunt and defend yourself from predators. Be careful with the traps set since your mental state could make you fall into them. 

The Combat System

Even the game can be difficult, the combat system is not. You must create basic weapons to survive and protect yourself from threats. But after you have mastered the tutorial and each combat feature, the possibilities are enormous.

For example, when equipped with a bow, you can kill predators and other passive animals with an arrow. This is an excellent advantage as you can use stealth to get animal food and other resources.

Green Hell allows you to enjoy cooperative sessions with your friends. Note that this gameplay does not include the main story. It’s a separate game that you can play for fun, with dozens of diseases, threats, and more.
