Before you start, make sure any previous version of Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365 is completely uninstalled from your PC.

Installation & Activation

1. Create a new folder on your desktop, for example:Office2021
2. Go to the official Microsoft Office Customization Tool:https://config.office.com/
3. Click Create to create a new Office configuration.
4. Configure Office with the following settings:Architecture: Select 64-bit for most modern PCs, or 32-bit if required by your system.Product: Select Office LTSC Professional Plus 2021 – Volume License.Select the Office applications you want to install.Choose your preferred language.Select the appropriate Office LTSC 2021 perpetual volume license channel.When asked for the product key type, select MAK / Volume License if you received a MAK key.Enter your Office 2021 Professional Plus LTSC product key.
5. Complete the configuration and click Finish.
6. Click Export, select the Office Open XML format, accept Microsoft's terms, and save the file inside the folder you created earlier.Give it a simple name, for example:office2021.xml
7. Download the official Microsoft Office Deployment Tool (ODT):https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49117
8. Save the Office Deployment Tool inside the same Office2021 folder.
9. Run the Office Deployment Tool and extract its files into the same folder.Make sure the folder contains:setup.exeYour configuration file, for example office2021.xml
10. Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
11. Navigate to the folder containing setup.exe and your XML configuration file. For example:

cd "C:\Users\YourName\Desktop\Office2021"

1. Run the following command:

setup.exe /configure office2021.xml

If you gave your XML file a different name, replace office2021.xml with the exact name of your file.

1. Press Enter. Office 2021 Professional Plus LTSC will download from Microsoft's servers and install automatically.

Make sure your computer has a stable internet connection during the installation process.

1. Once the installation is complete, open Word, Excel, or another Office application and go to:

File → Account

1. Office should activate automatically online if the product key was entered correctly during the configuration process.

If prompted, enter your purchased Office 2021 Professional Plus LTSC product key and complete the activation.
