Returns Policy
Digital Products, CD Keys, Refunds and EU Right of Withdrawal
This Returns Policy applies to digital products sold on RoyalCDKeys, including but not limited to software keys, game keys, subscription keys, activation codes, gift cards, digital accounts and other digital products delivered electronically.
Digital products are usually delivered by email, on the order status page, through a secure download/redeem page.
EU Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases.
For digital content and digital products, this right may be lost once the digital product has been delivered, revealed, sent, downloaded, claimed, or otherwise made available to you, provided that you expressly agreed to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal once delivery begins.
Before receiving or revealing a digital key, you may be asked to confirm:
“I agree to the immediate delivery of the digital product and acknowledge that I lose my right of withdrawal once the digital key is delivered, revealed, or sent.”
If you give this consent and the digital key is delivered, revealed, sent, downloaded, claimed, or otherwise made available to you, your right of withdrawal may no longer apply.
Withdrawal Button / Withdrawal Request
EU customers can submit a withdrawal request through our “Request Withdrawal” or “Exercise your right of withdrawal” button/link available on our website.
Submitting a withdrawal request does not automatically approve a refund. Each request is reviewed manually based on the product type, delivery status, reveal status, consent given at checkout, and applicable consumer law.
To submit a withdrawal request, you may be asked to provide your name, email address, order number and details of your request. We will send you a confirmation that your request has been received.
When a Refund May Be Available
A refund or cancellation may be available if:
-
the digital key has not yet been delivered, revealed, sent, downloaded, claimed, or otherwise made available to you;
-
we are unable to deliver the product;
-
the product delivered is incorrect and the key has not been used, activated, redeemed, or claimed;
-
the key is proven to be invalid or defective after verification by our support team or supplier;
-
applicable consumer law requires a refund.
When a Refund May Not Be Available
A refund may not be available if:
-
the digital key has already been delivered, revealed, sent, downloaded, claimed, activated, redeemed, or otherwise made available to you;
-
you expressly agreed to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal once delivery begins;
-
the key has been successfully activated, redeemed, used, copied, transferred, resold, or added to an account;
-
you purchased the wrong product, platform, region, language version, edition, or quantity and the key has already been revealed, delivered, claimed, or used;
-
the issue is caused by incorrect installation, incompatible device/system requirements, account restrictions, regional restrictions disclosed on the product page, or third-party platform rules.
Defective or Invalid Keys
If you believe your key is invalid, already used, duplicated, incorrect, or technically defective, please contact our support team as soon as possible and provide your order number, screenshots, error messages, and any relevant platform information.
We may need to verify the issue with our supplier, distributor, marketplace provider, or the relevant activation platform before approving a replacement or refund.
Chargebacks and Delivery Proof
To protect customers and prevent fraud, we may keep delivery, consent, reveal, access, download and support logs related to digital product orders. These records may be used to verify delivery, investigate disputes, respond to payment provider inquiries, and handle chargebacks.
Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
