Onimusha should be considered the draft used to develop Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut – the Playstation game about the first Mongol Invasion of Japan. The Capcom platform did great work bringing this incredible title without bugs.

The game is set in a fantasy world in 1560. You play Samanosuke Akechi, a noble samurai fighting a war for his feudal lord. You receive a letter from his cousin explaining that demons infested his land and began kidnapping people.

When you head back to Inabayama Castle, where your cousin sent the letter, a wave of monsters greets you, confirming what your relative said.

This samurai adventure version keeps its original intense swordplay and revenge tale. Controls have been improved; the updated display resolution support is included now; there’s a better soundtrack and more to discover yourself!
