Playing this game in VR adds a layer of difficulty. One of the most complicated puzzles for me was the "Laser Web Puzzle" because I had to use my multitool to grab and reposition white orbs so that the red lasers shooting out of them aligned with the red orbs.

Thanks to its success, Valve Corporation developed its sequel "Half-Life 2", enriching the series' story with more characters like Gordon Freeman as the protagonist and a deep narrative.

We Happy Few is a fun game where you navigate a dystopian city shaped by an alternate World War II outcome. In this title, you control one of three characters, each with a unique story, trying to escape the city's dark secrets.

The game blends survival, stealth, and role-playing elements with various quests and side missions, challenging you to survive in a society blinded by a hallucinogenic drug called "Joy," which alters perception and gameplay dynamics.

One of the things I like about this game is the sense of vulnerability. The characters are ordinary people without special abilities. For instance, I especially liked Sally's storyline, where I was forced to play tactically and sneakily with just a perfume bottle to defend myself.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is a great video game that delivers on all fronts, as it parodies 1980s culture, blending action and humor. 

You are Sergeant Rex Colt, a cyborg soldier in a post-nuclear war world. Tasked with saving humanity from a rogue agent's evil plan, you will be using multiple weapons and facing off against blood dragons that shoot lasers from their eyes in a vibrant, neon-lit world.

This title is short compared to other Fry Cry video games, but I consider it one of the best games in the dystopian genre. I'm a huge fan of the '80s, so Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon takes all the big '80s action tropes and puts them in a game.

I enjoyed Horizon: Zero Dawn because the progression from the gate was fantastic. Constantly taking on bigger machines and larger waves than I thought I was capable of defeating was thrilling.

I just finished playing Metro: Exodus, and I think it's one of the best and most immersive single-player games I've ever played. The developers nailed the atmosphere, level design, characters, and soundtracks. Every chapter feels different in a good way. Non-human enemies are terrifying and can catch you off guard in many situations.

The narrative centers around ADAM, a powerful substance that catalyzes the Rapture's descent from a would-be utopia into a nightmarish landscape. The game also blends shooting with unique powers granted by plasmids.

For me, the game's art style design is excellent. I think I checked the map less than ten times in every playthrough because it was too much fun just exploring and looting carefree in this immersive city.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is often considered better than any other game in the dystopian genre. Here, you step into the shoes of Adam Jensen, navigating through a world torn apart by the conflict between augmented humans and others. The game unfolds in various global locations, including the main hub of Prague.

Set in a world with dystopian settings, you'll engage in combat, use stealth, and employ strategy to confront mega corporations and uncover conspiracies. The game builds on its predecessor, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, enhancing gameplay and deepening the narrative within the cyberpunk settings.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is filled with many memorable moments. My favorite one was after getting the passcode from Tibor's brother in Golem City so I could talk with the guy guarding ARC's elevator access. Hearing his story about his experience with Talos Rucker is my favorite part of the game.

Your mission is to dismantle the forces that destroyed your base, facing challenges in cities and rugged terrains, making it one of the favorite games in the action-adventure genre.

My favorite mission was Lingua Franca, where I had to save some prisoners. I remember doing everything I could to keep them alive, constantly fighting the interrogators and crawling through the swamp and under the floorboards Rambo-style while exploring the map, competing with daylight (since the last prisoner would be executed at night).

After being ambushed and left for dead, your character is looking for revenge and recovery, aligning with or against various factions vying for control. Your actions shape the world and determine the fate of the city.

I had a hard time choosing a major faction to join. Each has its own perks for siding with them, and I couldn't agree with a single end game over another - spoiler alert - though it's usually the NCR or Yes Man since the Brotherhood can be spared.

I loved Cyberpunk 2077 because of its aesthetic and the idea of being able to enhance my character. I could alter and replace V's body to suit his own desires.
