2. Verify that the account contains the correct content, including the correct edition and no unexpected playtime.
3. Change the email address linked to the account.
4. Change the account password.
5. Enable 2FA with Steam Guard.
6. Be aware that it may not be possible to add the purchased account to an existing Steam Family or enable Family Sharing.
7. Use the purchased account to access the included game or content. It is not recommended to use it as your main account for purchases.
