Getting there isn’t particularly dangerous, but you’ll need to navigate around rocky terrain and lava flows. The easiest approach is from the Lookout Landing direction or via nearby Skyview Tower glides.

Once you arrive, you’ll see the tower is physically intact—but there's no way inside from the base.

As you approach the entrance, Sawson , one of the many tower repair NPCs scattered across Hyrule, is already on-site. He’ll explain that debris from falling sky rocks has jammed the door. You can’t blast your way in, and there’s no mechanical switch to reset it.

If you want in, you’ll need to think vertically.

Step 1: Wait for a Falling Rock

Around the tower, you’ll notice large rocks occasionally falling from the sky. These are Zonai-related remnants that regularly drop from Sky Islands. Wait nearby until one crashes near the tower.

Step 2: Climb Onto the Rock

Once it lands, climb on top of the rock and stand near its center.

Step 3: Use Recall

Activate your Recall ability to reverse the rock’s fall. Link will ride the rock upward into the sky. As the rock rises, wait for the right height.

Step 4: Glide Into the Tower Opening

As soon as the rock hits a good altitude, leap off and open your paraglider. Maneuver your way over to the tower’s rooftop opening and glide inside.

Step 5: Activate the Tower

Inside, access the terminal as you would in any other Skyview Tower. The map data for the Eldin region will be uploaded, and the tower becomes a permanent fast-travel point.

Unlocking the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower opens up a huge section of northeastern Hyrule. This includes:

• Access routes toward Death Mountain and Goron City
