Nestled in the rugged hills of West Necluda near Kakariko Village , this tower offers far more than a view—it's your ticket to uncovering key portions of the map, accessing sky islands, and expanding your fast-travel options. But first, you’ll need to get inside. And unlike other towers, this one doesn’t give up its secrets easily.

The Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower is located in the West Necluda region. You’ll find it east of Hyrule Field, perched near a cliffside and surrounded by lush greenery and rocky inclines. Its precise coordinates are 1344, 1170, 0166 . The quickest route is crossing a river via a small bridge and scaling the winding trail that leads up to its base. Look for the cluster of trees just before the slope narrows—you're close when the terrain starts to plateau.

As you approach the tower, you’ll meet Billson, a Rito NPC whose frustration is almost contagious. He’s been trying to open the doors without luck and hints that something might be wrong internally. Your job is to figure out what’s blocking the mechanism.

Unlike most towers where the entrance is accessible from the front, this one requires an alternate route. Fortunately, Billson offers a helpful clue: he used to gather mushrooms from a nearby cave. That’s your lead.

Just behind the tower, nestled into the mountainside, is the Sahasra Slope Cave. It’s easy to miss if you’re not looking closely. There are two entrances to the cave—both tucked along the northwest side of the slope. Inside, you’ll find walls of breakable rocks that block your path.

Pro Tip:

Bring a weapon fused with a stone or a few Bomb Flowers. You’ll need them to clear the way.

You may also encounter Horriblins—spidery creatures that hang from the ceiling. Whether you fight or sneak past them is up to you, but they’re manageable with a steady hand and a bit of patience.

Keep moving deeper into the cave until you reach a chamber with two gray stones and a conspicuous boulder. This room sits directly beneath the Skyview Tower.

Now’s your moment: activate the Ascend ability.

By rising through the ceiling from this chamber, you’ll pop out right inside the tower—bypassing the locked doors completely.

Once inside, it’s easy to see what the problem was. Two long sticks are wedged into the door’s internal locking mechanism. Use the Ultrahand ability to remove them. Once cleared, the doors are fully operational from both sides.

Speak with Billson again once the doors are open. He’ll get to work on final repairs and power up the console.
