The Best 10 Games Like Fall Guys to Play and Enjoy With Friends

The Best 10 Games Like Fall Guys to Play and Enjoy With Friends

It's been two years since the release of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, a party game that rose to popularity over the first months, taking over the internet and the gaming landscape. It went down pretty quickly and finally re-appeared under the banner of Epic Games, gaining a new audience thanks to becoming free-to-play.

Although, the success of Fall Guys gave a new chance to party games. Many others that were released before became more popular as people started to look for alternative games like Fall Guys. Suddenly, Mediatonic had some competition "hidden" under the carpet.

And that's what we are looking for today – the best alternative option for Fall Guys fans. In this Top 10, we listed out the best party games to enjoy with friends and have the most fun you would ever have.

10. Stumble Guys

  • Developer: Kitka Games
  • Release Date: February 12, 2021
  • Available On: PC and Mobile (iOS and Android)

Let's take this out of the way, shall we? Stumble Guys was one of the many Fall Guys clones that spawned since the release of the Mediatonic game. While they had Devolver Digital as the publisher, one had to purchase Fall Guys to play it, and many took the same idea to develop their games and make them free-to-play. Since Epic Games became the new publisher and adopted the same model, many clones fell down in popularity as they were mere free cheap copies.

That didn't happen with Stumble Guys. Although it is almost an exact clone of Fall Guys, replicating most of their mini-games and gameplay, what separates them from other clones (like Fall Dudes: Battle Royale, Guys Are Falling, or Fall Beans) is that it actually works.

Other clones are just awful to play, and Stumble Guys became Fall Guys with human skins instead of wacky beans in costume, and some real-world stuff, tuning down the colors of Fall Guys.

Another big win for Stumble Guys is that you can play on Mobile, one of the few platforms where Fall Guys didn't release yet.

You can download it and play for free from the Steam store (PC) or over the App Store for iOS and the Play Store for Android devices.

9. Totally Accurate Battlegrounds

  • Developer: Landfall Games
  • Release Date: June 5, 2018
  • Available On: PC

Fall Guys has a fine combination of "party game" and "battle royale." Now, let's focus more on the battle royale aspect but maintain the "wackiness" and add a pinch of physics-based gameplay. And throw a bunch of ridiculous weapons at it. We got Totally Accurate Battlegrounds.

This could be the best party game for FPS fans. As you can see by the name, its clear inspiration was PUBG. But Landfall Games already had experience with party games, as they are the same developers from Stick Fight: The Game, and then they followed "TABG" with Totally Accurate Battle Simulator (TABS), a fun alternative to Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator.

TABG is a battle royale game that puts 60 wobbling "3D-stick guys" in squads of four against each other. The fun part (and the main difference with PUBG) is that you can attach any attachment to almost any weapon, like a suppressor to a mini-gun. Also, you will find other rare weapons, like the Glockinator, a stupidly-high rate weapon that is simply two Glocks attached to an ACOG aim sight. It has its own "Gulag," too, where you have to pass a mini-game to being literally thrown back into the game.

You can download it and play it for free from the Steam store.

8. Survival Quiz City

  • Developer: Bandai Namco Inc.
  • Release Date: March 4, 2022
  • Available On: PC

Like Stumble Guys, this game is one of the few that came after the release of Fall Guys, and it clearly drew inspiration from them. But only in the initial idea.

The only thing that Survival Quiz City shares with Fall Guys are the format of many people running over obstacle courses and the wackiness of the characters, changing the beans for dinosaurs.

Survival Quiz City is a quiz show where the participants have to be the first to reach the goal and answer a quiz of five questions (at maximum). If they are wrong, they will be thrown into a new obstacle course, while the ones that answered correctly will be rewarded with guns and make the loser's life impossible.

It has two game modes: the classic "Survival," which is similar to Fall Guys, where the last man standing will be the winner, and Bounty Hunters, where the winner is the one that collected the most coins.

You can buy it from the Steam store, as it is only available for PC.

7. BattleBlock Theater

  • Developer: The Behemoth
  • Release Date: April 3, 2013
  • Available On: PC and Xbox 360

The oldest of the list and a true gem. After developing two amazing titles, Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers, The Behemoth delivered another bomb-of-a-game with BattleBlock Theater. It is a 2D platformer where you will go from one point to another through many obstacles as their main mode, but also has plenty of unique game modes.

With a distinctive art style that carries out from their previous games, BattleBlock Theater is a unique party game to enjoy for up to eight players at mini-game battles. It also offers a great single-player experience with a fun story where you have to save Mr. Hatty Hattington in a deadly show (don't worry, everything is still family-friendly).

You can buy it from the Steam store page.

6. Crossy Road Castle

  • Developer: Hipster Whale
  • Release Date: February 27, 2020
  • Available On: PC (only MAC OS) and iOS

The well-known mobile game Crossy Road made a spin-off multiplayer game with Crossy Road Castle, a 2D platformer. The goal is pretty simple: reach from point A to point B. You can play it in cooperative mode with up to four players, working together to reach the finish line, or just a completely free-for-all and compete who gets there first.

The fun part is that any little mistake can be lethal for your character, maintaining that particular feature from the original game.

You will find it in the Apple Arcade store for PC (only MAC OS) and at the App Store for mobile devices.

5. Ultimate Chicken Horse

  • Developer: Clever Endeavour Games
  • Release Date: March 4, 2016
  • Available On: PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch

Following the trend of "cute animals battling each other," Ultimate Chicken Horse spices up the gameplay with 2D platform building. What does it mean? The players will "create" the levels.

In scenarios with up to four players, everyone competes against each other to reach the end goal, but before that, you have a building phase. There, each player contributes to the level with an additional item. These can be wood planks, stairs, or doors, but also deadly traps that will knock you out instantly.

The match goes over the course of multiple rounds, so the building phase will stack up until it is a true mess, even more when the games reward you not only for reaching the goal but also if one of your traps eliminates a player after each round. And if the round is too easy, the game will not reward anyone. Yes, ultimately, the game wants competition and every player fighting each other at this fun and incredible experience of a game.

If you are interested, you can buy a CD key for Steam or an Xbox CD key at a low price in the RoyalCDKeys store.

4. Pico Park

  • Developer: TECOPARK
  • Release Date: June 8, 2019
  • Available On: PC and Nintendo Switch

Don’t want to compete against your friends? Fair enough. Here is another game where everyone needs to work together: Pico Park.

You will go through many scenarios with up to eight players solving puzzles and getting the key to reach the door to the next stage. Ultimately, Pico Park is a cooperative 2D platformer where all the players must cooperate and fulfill a function in order to reach the end. A single mistake by one of the team and… let's repeat the puzzle! But it is not as severe as it might seem; the stages are short and fast to complete.

You can play it online with your friends, local multiplayer, or try a competitive option called "Battle Mode."

If you like this idea and wanna test it by yourself, you can buy a CD key for Steam for $4 in the RoyalCDKeys store.

3. Human Fall Flat

  • Developer: No Brakes Games
  • Release Date: July 22, 2016
  • Available On: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Android and iOS

Human Fall Flat is another "hidden gem" that found a resurgence due to the success of Fall Guys. It is a cooperative 3D platformer that combines puzzle-solving with physics-based gameplay.

Human Fall Flat can be a bit difficult at first glance, as their controls could be weird for those somewhat used to traditional gameplay, sometimes needing to adjust each limb to complete certain parts of a puzzle. But it is done in a fun way, and while you advance over different scenarios, you get used to this physics control scheme. Also, the difficulty of solving puzzles builds up with you, as it gives you a new challenge while learning new ways to move your character.

In RoyalCDKeys, we offer a CD key for Steam and a CD key for Xbox One at a discounted price, so go and check it out!

2. Pummel Party

  • Developer: Rebuilt Games
  • Release Date: September 20, 2018
  • Available On: PC

Do you know who the true master of party games is? Mario Party. Do you know which platform lacked a true Mario Party experience? PC. Do you know that now you have the best alternative for Mario Party on PC? That's right, it's Pummel Party!

The similarities that you can find between Pummel Party and Fall Guys can be addressed in some of their game modes. But if we are going to talk about the N°1 party game of all time, we need to talk about Mario Party, a franchise that spawned the best games in this genre. The problem is that Nintendo's exclusivity and no other could replicate the same success on a different platform.

Pummel Party just needed more marketing, as it perfectly mimics the Mario Party formula, with matches that can be played by four to eight players. It has the same goal: being the first to gather the most trophies (replacing the Stars), with keys being the main currency, over an interactive board. Once everyone played their turn, is time for a mini-game. And also, there are plenty amount of items to ruin your friend's run.

You can buy it from the Steam store page.

1. Gang Beasts

  • Developer: Boneleaf
  • Release Date: December 12, 2017
  • Available On: PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch

We are here at the end of the list with the best physics-based multiplayer game made today. Gang Beasts is just a blast to play with friends, as its ridiculous mechanics and trying to control each limb create so many fun situations while you try to knock out of the stage your friends' characters.

It is a fighting party game, with its primordial game mode being "Last Man Standing," where you will travel through many scenarios trying to beat everyone else and literally throw them away from the stage. These stages can be a furnace, a rooftop, suspended platforms, at the top of trucks on a highway, etc. Try to survive this experience, grabbing into anything you have at your reach, even other players, as these dudes are really sticky.

In RoyalCDKeys, we offer CD keys for Steam and Xbox One/Series at a discounted price, so there is no excuse to miss this one out!

Bonus: Party Animals

  • Developer: Recreate Games
  • Release Date: Early 2023 (TBA)
  • Available On: PC and Xbox Series X|S

Party Animals hasn’t launched yet, but you better keep an eye out for them, as the trailer presented at The Game Awards 2022 seems really promising.

If you didn’t see it, go and check it out, and you will find a lot of similarities to Gang Beasts. But now, it will be more focused on the fighting, and it seems to be more polished. Plus, you can't say no to cute animals punching each other.

It is already available to add to the wishlist on its Steam store page.

Let’s Party On!

Fall Guys keeps getting content each month, even more now that it is paired with Epic Games, the “lords of crossover content” (as it is demonstrated with Fortnite). And it keeps being a really fun experience to play.

Yet, some people might want something a little more different or a little more private, as all of these games are more enjoyable to play with friends at home, at online lobbies using Discord or any other communication software. Trust us, you will remember a night with friends on any of these amazing titles.
