Besides rebuilding from the nuclear catastrophe, people must deal with ominous zombies. 

As a traditional base-building open-world survival game, players need to hunt for food, water, shelter, raw materials, resources, and equipment. You will be exposed to illness and other game-changing factors, forcing you to find a way to survive. The constant threats are not only zombie hordes that get increasingly harder to deal with but also the hostile environment of the post-apocalyptic world. 

Apart from survival, the game brings some elements of tower defense, strategy, and RPG features. 7 Days to Die has solid building mechanics, and if something isn’t built right, the structure may collapse, bringing another challenge to the game. 

There’s also the weekly blood moon event, where the zombies massively attack the human bases. Also, remember, zombies may be your hazard in the game, but the local wildlife won’t give you summertime.
