The Red Strings Club takes place in a futuristic city, just like the best games of the genre –we’re looking at you, Cyberpunk 2077 – where device implants in humans are common. People use these devices manufactured by the corporation Supercontinent Ltd. to alter their mental functions and physical features.

This title features three main playable characters: Donovan, an implantless human, Brandeis, a freelance hacker, and Akara-184, an android with advanced empathy capabilities. They’re trying to stop Supercontinent from releasing a system that can alter the mind of all the humans with implants.

Each character has a unique style of gameplay. Donovan, as the owner of The Red String Club, mixes different types of drinks to bring out emotions in his patrons and get information. Adam can also hack several devices to acquire information about quests and progress in his path. Most hacks include minigames allowing you to capture points to access devices.
