Resident Evil 4 Remake
Release Date : March 24, 2023
Developer : Capcom
Publisher: Capcom
Platforms : PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Microsoft Windows, Xbox Series X|S, iOS, macOS
Metascore : 93
Resident Evil 4, the original released in 2005, was one of those games that changed the industry forever. This title revolutionized the concept of a third-person shooter by changing the position of the cam in addition to the general experience of the gameplay. It also proposed a world built of interconnected maps whose sense of exploration was something never seen before.
Regardless of the quality of the original game, the video game developers decided to create a new version according to our time. This project was the Resident Evil 4 Remake launched in the past year.
This new version undoubtedly improves many of the original mechanics and visual quality, without mentioning several quality-of-life improvements. This title feels more real than its PlayStation 4 counterpart, and the story is developed more organically. But, beyond this, the designers included many references to the first game, which is an important detail to the fans of the franchise.
Among the first easter eggs in RE4 Remake is the famous scene of Leon sitting on Ramon Salazar’s throne. After completing a relevant scene for the plot, you will be able to return to this room. Just head to the throne and press the interactive button. A short scene will be displayed showing Leon sitting on the throne and crossing his legs. You could do the same in the original title!
Resident Evil 4 Remake also features other references to the original, such as the monster of the lake jumping after you shoot the lake and the inscription “Kendo” on Leon’s default handgun. Just play it and discover the first easter egg on your own.
Key Features:
A renowned classical of all time with impressive graphics and better mechanics.
A smooth playthrough on a huge map with dozens of hidden secrets.
Multiple references and easter eggs to the older version.
Resident Evil 4 Remake Global Steam CD Key is available on RoyalCDKeys.
Final Fantasy VII Remake
Release Date : April 10, 2020
Developer : Square Enix Business Division 1
Publisher: Square Enix
Platforms : Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5
Metascore : 87
With Final Fantasy VII Remake, much like Resident Evil 4 Remake, we witness the revival of a classic title nearly three decades old. Retaining the essence of the original mechanics yet elevated with stunning graphics and a revitalized vision of Midgar, this remake breathes new life into a beloved masterpiece.
People like me, who are fans of the franchise, were looking forward to this title fervently, not only for the clear improvements that the game presents but also for the references to the original game and other titles of the saga.
For example, when you enter the Seventh Heaven for the first time, you will have a similar conversation as in the original game. However, upon finishing it, you can explore the bar at your leisure. On one of the walls, you’ll notice that there is a photo of the original Seventh Heaven. Sadly, the secret room under the Seventh Heaven is not there.
People sorted this reference as the best easter egg of FFVII Remake despite the fact there are many others throughout the adventure. How can we forget Cait Sith's appearance during the plate demolition over sector 7? Impossible!
The game’s sequel, FFVII Rebirth, will also bring us many references to other games of the saga, such as the poster in Tifa’s room in Nibelheim showing us the dolphin’s special attack on Zell.
Key Features:
A total revision of the classic RPG of all time.
New and fresh graphics, storylines, more quests, and a deeper plot.
Multiple citations to the older games and other titles of the series.
Batman Arkham Asylum
Release Date : August 25, 2009
Developer : Rocksteady Studios
Publishers: Eidos Interactive | Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment
Platforms : PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, Mac OS X, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch
Metascore : 92
The first chapter of the Batman Arkham collection is, for many gamers, the best of the trilogy. Reasons for this abound since you, as Batman, have to face many of the classic villains and creepy enemies of the hero while exploring the intricate hallways of Arkham Asylum.
Batman: Arkham Asylum is everything you can expect from the caped crusader since it perfectly mixes investigation, combat, intuition, and the great abilities of the best detective in the world.
After the release of this title, fans speculated that a sequel would see the light in the subsequent years. However, Rocksteady never gave clues or reasons to support this theory. Despite the fact that the direct sequel, Arkham City, arrived two years later, an interesting easter egg in Arkham Asylum was revealed by the developers several years later. This easter egg revealed the map of the future Arkham City game!
In other words, when the developers created Arkham Asylum, they already knew that they would work on a sequel taking place in Gotham! The map of the city appears as a hidden message on a board within a secret room in the asylum.
To discover this special message of developers, head to the warden's office and put three explosive gels on a particular wall. The explosion will reveal a secret room that, of course, goes unnoticed by your detective’s vision.
Key Features:
One of the great games of Batman occurs in a unique location: the Arkham Asylum.
Many details are extracted from various Batman media and iconic villains.
A deep easter egg was discovered several years after the launch.
Batman: Arkham Knight Steam CD Key is available on RoyalCDKeys.
Dead Space Remake
Release Date : January 27, 2023
Developer : Motive Studio
Publishers: Electronic Arts
Platforms : PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series X|S
Metascore : 89
Dead Space Remake, launched the past year, is also an improvement compared to the original game, released in 2008. Basically, the game is the same but with enhancements and upgrades that make the game look better and with smoother gameplay.
The remake still keeps the same feeling of horror as the original but boosts the dark atmosphere and psychological disturbances that characterize the video game. The remake also focuses on how Isaac related to his hallucinations and mental issues. In my personal opinion, the remake is more immersive and disturbing than the original. The graphics and the excellent light-shadow effects really work here.
But Dead Space Remake is not exempt from references, secret messages – like most terror titles, such as Silent Hill or Resident Evil – and indirect signs. No intention of spoiling the game; in the last chapters, you will find a deep secret that will crush your gaming experience as you know it until now. The funniest thing of all is that this secret has been revealed from the very beginning of the game, and you didn't notice. In other words, if you put together the first letter of each of the thirteen chapters, you will unravel the secret message. It’s up to you to do it or not!
Key Features:
An excellent atmosphere that brings you closer to darkness.
Impressive graphics, excellent characters, and a story that will steal your attention.
One of the best video game cheat codes of all time.
Dead Space Remake Steam CD Key is available on RoyalCDKeys.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Release Date : November 21, 1998
Developer : Nintendo EAD
Publisher: Nintendo
Platforms : Nintendo 64, GameCube, iQue Player, Nintendo 3DS
Metascore : 99
Playing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is likely one of the most entertaining journeys that any gamer can experience in their life. Regarded as a timeless classic and one of the greatest games in history, this Nintendo gem continues to captivate players with its rich storytelling and immersive gameplay, offering a treasure trove of experiences even in the modern gaming landscapes.
Recurrently, many secrets have been discovered in Ocarina of Time, even twenty-five years later. For this reason, many gamers persevere and play Ocarina of Time over and over again to unravel secrets that went unnoticed by most gamers before. This is how secret zones, such as behind a waterfall or a secret chest, have been untangled in the past years. However, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has multiple easter eggs throughout its entire length.
The first easter egg worth mentioning is the painting –or photos?– of Super Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Bowser, and the Princess Peach that you can see through a window in the Hyrule Castle. When you meet Peach for the first time, you can see the artwork inside a room on one side of the patio. Do The Legend of Zelda and Mario Bros happen in the same universe? We will never know!
But that is not all! The owner of the Lon Lon Ranch, Talon, and his loyal worker, Ingo, are a clear reference to Mario and Luigi since both have a mustache and use the characteristic apparel red and green of both Super Mario heroes.
The programmers of Ocarina of Time also included throughout the entire adventure many references to other games of the saga, such as a painting that shows Link wielding the master sword in A Link to the Past.
Undoubtedly, in every corner of Ocarina of Time, you’ll find a surprise, either a chest, a gadget, or an easter egg. I strongly recommend you play this title if you’ve not done it yet. It’s a game that has remained one of the best for decades and that will provide you with a magnificent journey across Hyrule.
Key Features:
One of the classics of all time and a marvel that brightens with its glow.
A great adventure with more than 10 dungeons and multiple weapons to get.
Several easter eggs you can discover if you explore Hyrule deeply.
Blasphemous
Release Date : September 10, 2019
Developer : The Game Kitchen
Publisher: Team 17
Platforms : Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Linux, macOS, Amazon Luna
Metascore : 77
Blasphemous is an incredible indie title developed by a small Spanish studio that really kicked the table of the Metroidvania genre five years ago. Currently, there is a sequel providing improvements to the first chapter; however, the first installment is an ode to video games and a benchmark of the genre.
Blasphemous is heavily inspired by Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and other games of the genre, such as Spelunky. This is the reason why you’ll experience scenarios inside castles, catacombs, and caustic caverns throughout the entire title. Blasphemous also takes a lot of the religious culture of the south of Spain, especially from cities like Sevilla and Granada. These direct references reflect on the details of the architecture and composition of maps.
Beyond this, Blasphemous contains several interesting and fun easter eggs related to other video game franchises and works from different media. For instance, in the room where you offer the Children of Moonlight that you collected through the adventure to the painting of the bull, you can use your charge attack on the left wall to open a secret passage that will lead you to a new room. Inside this room, you’ll find several paintings referring to different video games, among which you will find Shovel Knight, Rime, Crossing Souls, UnEpic, Severed, Matilda Castilla, and Overcooked.
But Blasphemous offers us much more than that! There is another hidden room that is harder to find than the previous one. To access it, you’ll need particular abilities and enter a deep zone of the map. This room corresponds to a small cave with an arcade machine inside. If you have enough Tears of Atonement, you can give it a shot.
Evoking the classic platforming feel of originals like Castlevania (1987) and Ghosts 'n Goblins (1985), this pixelated gem delivers a nostalgic journey through gaming history. With its retro-inspired gameplay and challenging platforming, it pays homage to the timeless classics while carving its own unique path in the modern era.
Key Features:
A fight against God’s strength that takes place in a holy sanctuary full of mystery.
A Metroidvania approach with a bunch of zones, weapons, skills, and deadly battles.
Several hidden rooms refer to other titles that will make you feel rewarded.
Blasphemous Steam CD Key is available on RoyalCDKeys.
Grand Theft Auto V
Release Date : September 17, 2013

When it comes to Rockstar Games, you know you're in for a ride! From the Wild West adventures of Red Dead Redemption to the gritty action of Max Payne 3, they never disappoint. And let's not forget the juggernaut that is GTA V – I mean, it's like living in a virtual LA or San Francisco! Rockstar sure knows how to pack in the content and keep us glued to our screens for hours on end.
Exploring Los Santos and its suburbs, you'll stumble upon countless Easter egg videos. But beware, not all of them live up to the hype. In fact, some are downright eerie! Yet, whether it's the thrill of the hunt or sheer curiosity, you will uncover these hidden gems sooner or later. Just be prepared for the unexpected...
The most recurrent easter eggs are UFOs you can find it in several parts of the map. At the top of Mount Chiliad, you’ll find some strange hieroglyphics explaining how to find several floating plates within the game. Besides, in the back of the lookout, you can find a message that says: “Come here when your story is complete,” meaning you can access Sci-Fi content after achieving 100% of the game.
However, there is another easter egg that, according to my perspective, is more interesting than the previous one. This one, also found on Mount Chiliad, is a clear allusion to the 1991 film Thelma & Louise. If you go to Mount Chiliad before 7 pm, you can see a recreation of the classic final of the movie where the two women drive off a cliff in a car to avoid being arrested.
Thelma & Louise holds a special place in many hearts, and that iconic scene has left us all wondering about their fate. Well, why not take matters into your own hands in GTA V?
Key Features:
One of the best-selling games of all time, featuring three main characters and stories.
A vast open world you can explore at your leisure.
Multiple easter eggs throughout the entire city of Los Santos.
Grand Theft Auto V GTA 5 Global Rockstar CD Key is available on RoyalCDKeys.

DOOM 2 is a groundbreaking first-person shooter from the beginning of the 90s. It established many of the classic mechanics still present in most shooters out there, including the Gear of War series, the Call of Duty franchise, and some standalone titles such as Perfect Dark, Apex Legends, and the famous Duke Nukem 3D. Moreover, the Doom saga inspired even such games as Portal.
DOOM 2: Hell on Earth is a title that expanded the “kill all the enemies in front of you” concept by adding length to the levels, dozens of enemies, and several new zones thanks to its two expansions that came over time.
One of the aspects worth mentioning is the non-linear levels, which was a rarity at the time. Levels are so intricate that you will occasionally get lost, but you’ll find interesting rewards. Still, DOOM 2 has another surprise for us!
In addition to several hidden areas and one or another cheat code, DOOM 2 hides a true final boss, which you access by shooting the Icon of Sin – the regular final boss – with a rocket launcher. Once you've accessed the demon's head with the no-clip cheat code, brace yourself for a spine-chilling surprise: the head of none other than game designer John Romero. Talk about a twist! This final boss is far creepier than anything you've encountered before, making it an enemy to fear truly. So, tread carefully and decide if you're ready to take on one of the best game designers in the industry. It's a challenge like no other!
Key Features:
A direct sequel to the original DOOM that will lead you to complete a mission in hell.
Unlock multiple weapons to face demons that emerge from the underground,
A classic character wandering through a world full of monsters, humor, and easter eggs.
