You decide your play style and choose how to join the scavenging run. You will also determine how to act with others, being gentle with every newcomer or acting as a protector that will aggressively defend your territory. With everything based on how you want to play, the game offers a unique player’s experience.

State of Decay allows you to play solo and lets up to three friends team up as survivors to help you in the Co-Op fight. No matter how many players you have at the party, you must explore the map, create a home base and control your group of survivors.
